Why rent a bicycle in BE-CYCLES?

What to do to rent a bike?
You need to fill out a booking form or call us. After that, we will reach you over the phone when the bicycles will be ready at our showroom. When you come for them, we will write down your data from your identity card or passport, you will pay and the bicycles are yours for the agreed period of time.
Which documents do I need to have?
We need one proof of identity: an identity card or a passport.
Do you deliver bicycles to the address?
No, bicycles can only be rented and returned at our showroom. BE-CYCLES showroom is located in a well-accessible place in the center of Banska Bystrica.
Can I rent a bike for an hour or half a day?
Yes, you can. The minimum length of the rent is 4 hours.
When I rented a bike for one day, does it count 12 or 24 hours?
When renting for one day, the time is calculated from morning (09:00) to late evening, so it is a 12-hour rental period.
Can I pay with a card?
Yes, our showroom has a terminal for receiving payments from payment cards. Of course, we also accept payments in cash in euros.
Are the locks / lights / helmet included in the rental?
Yes, each bike rental includes a lock, helmet. Every bicycle has front and rear lights.
Do bicycles also have side bike bags?
Yes, we also have 2 bicycles with a side bike bag. If you are interested in them, please mention this in the note on the booking form. Cycling bags cost an additional 1€ / day.
What if I got a flat tire?
We do everything we can to prevent flat tires. Our bicycles are equipped with puncture-proof tires, but we understand that sometimes that's not enough. So part of the loan is also a flat tire repair kit together with a small pump. It is even possible that we will come to you after a call for bicycle repair / exchange, but it will cost you 30€.
